Evie West is a passionate advocate for life whose story is a remarkable testimony of God’s redeeming grace. Raised in a loving Christian home in Southern California, Evie’s life took a difficult turn during her teenage years as she struggled with identity, rejection, and intense bullying. Searching for acceptance, she became involved in gang life and a destructive lifestyle. By the age of sixteen, she had become a mother while living far from God’s purpose for her life.
In 1996, after years of prayer by her parents, Evie was sent across the country to attend Lee University in Tennessee. It was there, in the midst of resentment, fear, and uncertainty, that she recommitted her life to Jesus Christ. Shortly after, she discovered she was pregnant again and believed abortion was her only option. What she thought was an abortion clinic turned out to be a Christian pregnancy resource center, where compassionate counselors intervened at a pivotal moment in her life. Through the mercy of God and the ministry of faithful believers, Evie chose life and ultimately placed her son for adoption.
After graduating from college, Evie began serving her community as a police officer, where she continues to serve faithfully today. Throughout her career in public service, God has continually opened doors for her to share the hope of Christ with people searching for truth, healing, and redemption.
Today, Evie West travels across the country sharing her compelling testimony of restoration, forgiveness, adoption, sanctity of life, and the transforming power of the Gospel. Her message resonates deeply with churches, women’s events, pregnancy resource centers, schools, conferences, and pro-life organizations as she boldly proclaims that no life is beyond the reach of God’s grace.
