Kerri Pomarolli is a nationally touring comedian, actress, author, speaker, and screenwriter known for blending clean, high-energy comedy with inspiration, faith, and unforgettable storytelling. From Hollywood stages and national television to corporate events, churches, conferences, and sold-out venues across the country, Kerri has built a career proving that you don’t have to compromise your values to make people laugh.
A graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, Kerri also studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City and the British American Drama Academy in London. After moving to Los Angeles, she landed roles on Port Charles, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless, along with appearances in films and sitcoms. But while pursuing success in Hollywood, Kerri realized she wasn't willing to compromise her Christian faith for a career. That conviction ultimately led her in an unexpected direction: stand-up comedy.
Her first stand-up appearance was at the legendary Hollywood Improv, where she was the only performer that evening invited to return. Since then, Kerri has become a national headlining comedian, performing alongside and working with some of entertainment's biggest names, including Jay Leno, Jim Carrey, Sherri Shepherd, Carol Channing, Jerry Lewis, The Jonas Brothers, and Candace Cameron Bure.
Kerri has made 29 appearances on The Tonight Show and has been featured on Comedy Central, Netflix, ABC, CNN, TBN, CBN, Amazon Prime, Roku, SiriusXM, and numerous other television and media outlets. She has hosted her own television show, covered entertainment for CNN, hosted backstage at the Emmy Awards, and served as a host for the Female Songwriter Hall of Fame Awards. Her comedy includes a one-hour Dry Bar Comedy special, and she has also worked as a writer and performer for The Babylon Bee.
Her work has earned national recognition. Kerri was named one of LA's Most Inspiring People by LA Voyage Magazine and Comedian of the Year at the 2022 Hollywood Red Letter Awards. She appeared on the cover of Guideposts in January 2025 and on the cover of The Hollywood Magazine in June 2026.
Kerri is also an accomplished writer and author. She sold her second screenplay to the Hallmark Channel, and her books include the Amazon bestsellers Confessions of a Proverbs 32 Woman and She Rises Late and Her Kids Make Her Breakfast: Devotions for the Proverbs 32 Woman. Her work was also connected with the hit film Mom's Night Out, starring Sean Astin. In addition, she is a nationally syndicated columnist and co-hosts The Carpool Comedy Podcast with her teenage daughter, Lucy.
Faith remains at the heart of Kerri's life and career. She speaks and performs extensively for Christian audiences as a comedian and evangelistic speaker and has appeared alongside artists, authors, and ministry leaders including Lisa Bevere, Laura Story, Newsboys, Ryan Stevenson, Joni Eareckson Tada, Plumb, Lisa Harper, Kari Jobe, and Lysa TerKeurst. She has been featured at major women's events and tours including Aspire Women, Extraordinary Women, and Gateway Pink.
Kerri is also a passionate advocate for the pro-life movement and has helped raise millions of dollars through fundraising events across the country. Her personal story surrounding the miracle of her daughter Ruby's life gives her a uniquely heartfelt connection with audiences at pregnancy center banquets and pro-life events.
For corporate and organizational audiences, Kerri brings the same energy and humor while delivering practical insight drawn from her years as an insider in Hollywood. Her customized programs address burnout, stress, change, work-life balance, morale, resilience, empowerment, and productivity. Through relatable stories and laugh-out-loud comedy, she gives audiences practical tools they can carry back into their professional and personal lives.
Whether she's performing stand-up, delivering a corporate keynote, speaking at a women's conference, or sharing her faith with a church audience, Kerri Pomarolli offers far more than laughs. Her unique combination of comedy, encouragement, Hollywood experience, and authentic faith leaves audiences entertained, inspired, and feeling like they've just spent an evening with a new best friend.
